I hope you're stopping by this page because you wanted to find out more about me.

I am sharing these images and information because I believe that it is important that we remain people, even if we never are together in physical presence. Hopefully, the information in this section will reveal a human being who works hard by day and enjoys the people in his life!

I think of this page much like the inside jacket of a book (about the author).

I was born in the mid-50's on an Air Force Base in Texas. I traveled throughout the United States and Japan. I settled in Santa Rosa, California at the age of 13. I am a practicing Roman Catholic. My Parish is St. Eugenes and we enjoyed RENEW Group.

School

I am a graduate of
Montgomery High School's Class of 73. I never went on to college, but I did spend time in technical school learning radio frequency and general electronic engineering culminating in the issuance of a First Class Radio Telegraph license from the Federal Communication Commission.

Employment

I currently am participating in two jobs, My full time Position as Manager of Media Services at Santa Rosa Junior College, A communications consulting company North Bay Communication Services.

Without going into too much detail (but at least a whole paragraph) the first part of my working life started with jobs in video production ranging from cameraman all the way to production director for a small television operation. I then spent the next three years working on the technical side of Cable Television. I worked all phases of the business from installation, construction of both overhead and underground plant and finally ending as a field technician. But too many weekends and stormy nights cause me to re-think where I was heading. I then started my own one man company doing a wide variety of tasks. I created some custom application for motels that allowed pay-per-view programming to be economically employed and added set security to the system. I also fabricated some custom data switching products including one for the Federal Reserve Bank. The business was fun but I tired of always finding the next project and went back to video management for the local cable TV company. My official title was programming director but I also took on much of the telecommunications management and help maintain the data connections and phone switch. I enjoyed bringing up a new public access adventure but soon found that the takeover fever in the industry was causeing interest in the customer to be lost. The size of the "returm on investment" became too important. It was then that I received a call from the current manager of Audio Visual Services at Santa Rosa Junior College. He told me he was leaving to teach and thought that I would be good for the college and that the college would be good for me. Well I applied and got the job in the Spring of 1986. And I have been enjoying the challenges ever since.

Well I hope you enjoyed this glimps of me, I hope it didnt seem too self indulgent.
